    Here's a wonderful quote from Ambrose Bierce that I just came across:

    "Mind, n. A mysterious form of matter secreted by the brain. Its chief activity consists in the endeavor to ascertain its own nature, the futility of the attempt being due to the fact that it has nothing but itself to know itself with."

    This made me smile, and hopefully it'll do the same for you. He certainly did have a way with words.

    it get's interesting when the mind sees all of it's own flaws and desires to be free of them. to be free, the mind must be transcended. so the mind asks itself, can i not be?

    opperating system interface between awairness as end user and the software that runs on the brain. possibly wetware o.s. but NOT awairness itself.

    awairness is what we are. mind is something we often mistake ourselves for. it is certainly something we couldn't function as humans (or even most creatures) without. but still not our identity, which our awairness is.

    body equals periferals and power source.
    brain = computer
    mind = software
    awaireness/soul = end user
