I need some help here. I've recently had to deal with someone who smokes quite a bit of cannabis and I have no clue as to what the difference between all the different names for cannabis is. As I understand it (very badly I suspect) the difference between all this is in the strength of the product.

Can some kind soul tell me what the difference is? As it would help me understand what the girl is saying to me. At this point in time I have no idea how heavy a user she is.

    Thanks in advance.

    Weed is......well, weed.
Hash is a purified cannabis extract.
"Skunk" is usually just used to describe good weed, but is also used to describe a few distinct strains.
Grass is just another slang term for marijuana.

Seeming you're from Scotland, I expect you get shitty soapbar like the rest of us. It looks like shit, tastes like shit, and generally is...shit.
