Suddenly, I have an extreme disgust for semicolons.

Those Godawful portents of doom.
Ambiguous.
And, I mean, come on. Do they really help a sentence flow?
No, they make it just as choppy and awkward as if there were two.
It can only be used like this; like this it can only be.
No other way.
Semicolons are the tenuous means to a definitive end.
The comma is where it's at.

I like semicolons, I think they're neat. But rarely used properly, which is frustrating.

I prefer commas. They're cooler and easier to use. Plus, they keep my sentences making SENSE.

 

I have no choice I have to use them. I don't like to unless i have to though.

 

They still use these in math, right?
It's kind of like a question mark in Greek, too, I think.
But I agree excessive use of semicolons is annoying; it's so decrepit.

 

I never use them because I always second guess whether I am using it properly.

I love using semi-colons. I use them rarely, but each time I do I feel satisfied with knowing I'm using them properly.:tongue:

Semicolons are awesome if you know how to use them properly! It's really annoying when people think they're interchangeable with commas...
