Another musical I can't help but ask about, embarrassingly. One of my favorite songs ever since I was a little kid has been "I Was Born Undera a Wandering Star". And when my dad was feeling romantic he always used to sing "I talk to the Trees" to my mom. It's funny, got good music and an interesting and unique story.

...I also thought the Simpsons parody on it was funny as hell. Anyone else love it like I do? Any idea what I'm talking about?

Funny, there's a category for about every other type of film - but not for musicals. (I guess not many will admit to liking and watching musicals...;))

    :)

I heard about this one, but never saw it. Doesn't Clint Eastwood sing in this? (for real :) )

This is the only musical I will ever watch. I dont like musicals. Lee Marvin cant sing worth beans, and Clint does just ok. My fav song here is They Call the Wind Mariah, a beautiful song. But this movie is better not for the music, but for the comedy, as it is pretty hillarious. A great movie in my opinion.

Cat Ballou was an instant classic with Lee Marvin too.
