i believe my baby is having his first case of hiccups!!...that i can feel anyway... it's so strange. amazing.
It really is amazing! My kids used to get hiccups a lot in my womb. It was especially funny when my twins would get them at the same time. Both sides of my belly would jump, sometimes in unision, sometimes one would do it, and then the other immediately afterwards and so on and so on. Pretty cool stuff! The first time I got them with my oldest son, I had no clue what was going on. I just knew I was feeling something weird, not like his usual movements. Then I came to the realization what it was, and it made me so happy! I thought it was the sweetest thing!
awww! my baby has been getting the hiccups lately too! i wasn't sure what was going on until a few weeks ago i had to go for another ultrasound and i saw him having the hiccups. i was like "so that's what those strange movements are!" supposedly they don't bother them, but i know how much i hate having the hiccups so i always feel kind of bad for the little guy.
My baby gets them all the time. It used to just be little bitty ones I could hardly feel. Now they bounce my whole belly. It is kinda cute and it is reassuring to know that her nervous system is fully developed and working fine. It drives me crazy sometimes though. I can feel them so strongly and I guess b./c of the way she is positioned it puts a lot of pressure on my bladder. It was cute at first but now when she gets them I feel like I have them and can't wait for them to go away.
Alexis got them nearly every day or every other day from the time I was 20 weeks. She still gets them daily.
