i want to apply for another part time job so that i can save a bit more money before the baby comes. as it is right now i work at night, go to class twice a week in the morning, but during the day im always sitting at home bored. so i want to apply at a daycare or something to get some day hours. do you think they would hire me or give me a hard time bc i would only be there for a few months? and if they happen to not notice i'm pregnant do i need to tell them? also as a second thought... would it even be a good idea in the first place to work at a daycare? i work an office job now, so theres no like manual labor what so ever.
I worked at a daycare when I was 7 months pregnant. I only worked there for a month, because at 8 months, I couldn't handle a full time job and a part time job at the daycare. Not to mention, my back gave me lots of troubles picking up the kids, and I was having contractions. They didn't know I was pregnant until a week before I quit. I never told them, and I didn't really show with my daughter at all. Not sure if that helps, but I felt the need to reply.
yea, im not showing that much either.. it depends on what i'm wearing. most of the time if you didnt know i was pregnant you might just assume that i put on some weight. i think it's so hard to tell when you're looking at yourself lol.
Everybody is different, I worked Day Care when I was pregnant with my first, and had to quit, because I kept getting so sick from the kids whose parents would bring them in with serious fevers and illnesses. The Doctor said the fevers I had almost continually were not good for the baby, and was not worth the money I was making. So, I quit and ended up on bedrest only a month or two later, so I would have had to quit anyway. I also did home day care for ONE baby when I was pregnant with my second, because I could bring my older baby with me. Again, I went on bedrest and had to quit. It's really up to you, but you will get more and more tired as the pregnancy goes on, and only you know your immune system. Some womyn get every virus that comes near them when they are pregnant.
