I was just thinking about how one time when I was taking the city bus when I was about 14 years old, this old insane guy started saying no sensical things to me. And then he asked to listen to my CD player, so I let him cause I felt bad for him. Then it was my stop so I was telling him that I needed my headphones back, but he wouldn't give it back. Eventually he did, but the bus driver started yelling at him and saying he would call the cops if this guy didn't get off of the bus. The the cops showed up and arrested this guy. It was some crazy shit. At least for a 14 year old.
heh heh, had someone similar on a real packed train, sounded like a zealous preacher but she was talking craziness. some people were freaked, i thought she was sweet. they were gonna chuck her off for irritating all the suited types on their laptops, but it woulda been too much hassle to get her to a doorway
I was on a bus one time travelling across country, when they had a mentally ill lady with a bottle of 409 kitchen cleaner. She would press herself on people till they looked away from her, and then she would squirt em with the 409! Freaked people out! The bus driver had a major rebellion on his hands at 3:00 am, and he literally left her ass at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. Was not a cool place to dump a mentally ill person IMHO, but the people were gettin upset. Riding a bus anyplace is always an adventure. Especially those long distance cross country bus trips. Amazing what shady places some of those bus stations are You come across some real deep characters out there on the road. It is nothing if not interesting.
Yeah, I love riding the bus cause of all of the interesting people you meet. Me and my friend were on the bus like, a month ago, and this guy starts talking to us. He told us about his public access show which he said was monitored by the FBI and how he can't work because the cops beat him up. We watched the show and this guy had some pretty interesting conspiricy theories and mentioned us when talking about how some American youth wants to go back to the Hippie days of the 60s and 70s and still believe in peace. I felt very proud. My friend on the other hand was afraid that the FBI would come to his house and beat him up.
Yeah I rode the bus alot, I like ridin the older models like the one in the picture, they're faster and more comfortable than the newer ones. Bustramp
man i hate greyhound with a passion, everyone that works there is so damn depressed all the time...the ticket counter ladies act like they fucking want to killl everyone including themselves, and depending on ure look or the mood of the bus driver, the drivers wanna fucking make jokes about u instead of answering ure questions...and dont start me about those seats, ive never been on a greyhound where i fit...but i cant say its not a pleasure after hitching for a while, just lay back and sleep...of course some drivers r mad cool, ive had a few that have let me slide on paying just because i hung out with em for a while
