Americans don't enjoy real tea...usually...they drink carbonated cold teas with corn syrup in it.

In Europe they sell Lipton and Nestea in bottles and they're usually carbonated, but in America we don't want carbonation in our teas at all. I think it's horrible that they put carbonation in ice tea.

And in Europe you can't get American style iced tea. In fact you'll never ever see a FREE REFILL, god forbids it, I hear! :)

I buy Nestea powdered iced tea (the best!), caffeinated and decaf without sugar (no sweetner at all). It costs only a few cents a glass that way, and you don't need the added sugars or fake sugars.

Or botox. Don't forget our perfectly white perfect teeth! We just love going to dentists here, unlike the Brits.

I'm sure your carcinogenic fluoridated water helps with that

Also, I've seen plenty of places in Britain serving no carbonated iced tea. In fact I can't find any carbonated iced tea here any more. It disappeared years ago. I quite liked it. Though nothing really beats a nice hot cup of Earl Grey....

"Tea time", also known as dinner, is the biggest meal in our household, although if you just nip across the channel to France, lunch is the most important. For me it is a time where i can scoff tons of vegetables and feel good about it

A lot of Britons say they do, yes

No tornadoes here far as i know. It wont be long though, with all this global warming, from all those extra BIG cars;)

Britons can smell of many things, including aftershave, perfume, fish and chips, and in the case of that fat old moustached woman who leans in on you on the bus, B.O (body odour) and boiled cabbage

Welsh rarebit resembles cheese on toast or something, i think. I duno. I was born in Wales, but im vegan

    Yes

Its easyish, but the minimum wage is terrible and God help you if you become ill and dont live in a decent area

To me, a lot of American accents are grating and irritating, especially in women. Theyre rather harsh, i find

Sorry, I just found this thread.

Bear in mind that I'm a Southerner (and a hillbilly to boot), and the South may as well be a different country. Come to think of it, we nearly were. :)

    A typical Southern country breakfast:

    Bacon
    Sausage
    Fried pork chops
Fried Eggs, about 4-6 per person
    Biscuits
Gravy made from the meat drippings, a little flour, and milk
    Fried Apples
Lots of butter for the eggs and biscuits, and jelly or jamb for the biscuits
    Buttermilk and/or whole milk
    Hot, strong black coffee

It's a big meal, but country folks get up early and work long and hard.

I don't work that hard (and I'm a vegetarian), so I usually eat a bowl of rice and some pickled vegetables, or some tabbouleh leftovers.

PS - Lithium and JOhn, y'all are having WAY too much fun with this. :)
