.... vaporizer question ....

I've neven smoked with a vap and am curious,
do you get just as stoned from it as from smoking
normal herb with rolling papers or in a bong?

are there any cheap vaps which are washable?

how bout that Ubie, http://americansmokeless.com/about.htm,
is that washable or do you have to buy a new one every once in a while?

 

Vapo high is definitely different. It's a little more clear-headed than a usual high I would say, which can be good or bad depending on what you want. I prefer a regular high, but use the vapo now and again to try and protect my poor lungs.

Most vapes (not like that ubie, a vaporbrothers or a hotbox) are two parts, the heating element and the hose, the weed never touches the heating element so there's no need to wash it, and the hose is just a peice of plastic tubing with a peice of glass so if you needed to wash it I guess you could. There's almost no resin from vaporizing tho, so you really shouldn't need to wash it.

 

hey... i got a vape a little while ago (see my thread: http://hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=191517). i really like it, it saves a bit of weed and is a pretty decent high... but to be honest im not totally experiencing this totally unusual high people describe. it is certainly more cerebral, i'll agree with that... less STONED and more HIGH. that parts pretty cool.

vaps are nice. They are better for you, save weed (if even a little) and give a slightly different experience than other methods, lol i guess thats all been said already. Anyway that ubie vaporizer i think would b great. IT wouldnt give the quality as a more expensive vap but it would work the same and yea i bet u could clean it just with whatever you would normally use, except it wouldnt get that dirty. If you wanna try a vap first to see if u like it, you could make a lightbulb vap or use a glass cigar tube...

what exactly do you mean with that.
Not the same high as using a more expensibe one or .. ?

Well i'm thinking bout buying this Ubie and if i like the vap effect,
i'll surely buy an more expensife one.

Any guides on how to make one myself?
cause i wouldn't know where to begin.
And does a home-made on give you less quality
again or does that depend on your creating skills ?

it's the same vap as the Ubie, but it's cheaper. Guess this would
be a better buy then.

 

^^^ the thing with the ubie and the lightbulb is that if you put the flame too close, youll burn the herb instead of vaporizing it. the smoke will still get u high, it just kinda defeats the point of having a vaporizer...

Should receive it within 14 days, can't wait.

and they didn't exhale any smoke.

you shouldnt really see any smoke from the ubie there isnt a big enough chamber. Just as long as u dont touch the flame to the glass u wont burn the weed.. and what i meant by the light bulb being different i mean like, it wont vaporize weed as good as real vapes do, but u bought the ubie so tht will b fine... let us kno how it is

 

well the reason theres no smoke is cause its not BURNING the weed, its just passing hot air over it and burning it just enough to get the thc going... so its like thc vapour sorta thing... should be like a thin bluish greyish smoke... but you can turn it up for a thicker smoke too.

That's a negative on the salvia. And you can't 'smoke' anything with a vape. It will seem like people are exhaling smoke, but it's really just vapor. This means it won't set off smoke detectors and will just dissipate into the air after a few moments.

Well I found out yesterday that savinorin A will indeed vaporize at 300 Celcius. This is a fairly high temperature, considering my volcano only goes up to about 230 something Celcius. So I guess you can vaporize it after all.
