its funny, at the top of uk forum it says welcome to the uk forum, perhaps the best forum in the world... but from what i could tell its mostly just about 10 people regularly posting
couldnt find any banned though, but only went through a few of the longer threads

ian flemming was the author who created him
although ian did/does claim bond to be based somewhat on his own experiences
as a young man during, i believe it was, wwii.

personaly i believe mahandus k ghandi to have been much cooler.
i still don't entirely know how he did it.
lots of balls and/or endless determination, one hell of a brain, and maybe a fairly high pain threashold, although the last would be a matter totaly of speculation.

personaly i'm more impressed by ghandi, if anything, precisely because he wasn't,
or at least doesn't appear to me to have been, trying to be impressive.

he just wanted to live in the kind of world, something like the kind of world, i want to live in too.
