was a transient...... there was another night where there were three people sitting there smoking, I thought it was friends of my neighbours, I didnt think anything of it....... but when I got back from thanxgiving, I noticed signs up saying there have been homeless people hangin out in the hallway and to notify police....hmm this sucks, why cant they just put a lock on the outer door?

As far as the actual subject of the thread goes, I'd probably follow Weave's path. I'm a pretty peaceful person and I don't think I could bare to have a guy who was just looking for a warm place arrested.

How the fuck do you know I never venture out of upstate NY? Have you been stalking me or something? I spent two months in '05 up in the Northwest Territories of Canada. I would travel more if I had the money, but you don't need to travel to have knowledge about a certain location. You act like you know everything about me, which is ironic when you jump down my throat for knowing what kind of town Lawrence is, when it's well documented that it's a liberal college town loaded with all sorts of drug-addled, tree-hugging decadence. There are some places you don't have to visit to have an idea what they're like.
