The art is inspiring ...maybe a picture of it will appear on my website tonight.

As far as being famous, I think it takes a block to getting embarrassed for being different and expressing it. Like the guy who chopped heads off and put them in his freezer, he did not feel embarrassed about that. But I think that is called being infamous instead of famous. Most history books are filled with legalized butchers exploits of killing, in fact most history from way back is about legalized murder. Very few records of mystic ladies of the forests healing multitudes of sick people with herbs are noted, in fact the hogs who want to be famous butchered those pwople too and they also write the history books, so go figure. If more people wanted to be famous for doing things that don't hurt anyone, maybethe priorities in this world would turn around and the aliens would come give us some knowledge for medical advances. Who wants to help a world full of greed, conspiracy and tyranny? People like that always take credit for what knowledge I have given them. In fact, they repeat it back to me months latter forgetting I told them it in the first place. lol...whst egotisical buffooons...

You know, I have a great uncle who was a very famous doctor-he helped to build the health system in China in the 20th Century. I mean, you can google the guy's name and it goes on for pages and pages. He really made a huge difference in the lives of millions of people, and made very little money doing it. He was intelligent, tough, humanitarian, and very innovative.

Sometimes when I look at what he did with his life I feel like a real failure. Not because I'm not famous, but I think, you know, he helped so many people, with so few resources, against so many odds, that I kinda feel ashamed of myself sometimes, because I've accomplished so little in my life. And he really did an enormous amount to help people, not to get rich or receive recognition. At least I can be proud of that.

So, I guess that being famous in and of itself is not something that I would want to strive for, but helping people or improving their lives on that big of a scale is something that I wish I could do, or had done.

that's how my dad was... he was somewhat "famous" but "extremely well known" would be a better way to describe him. i never knew exactly what he did, which is probably a good thing. he would go to south america (venezuela, and other parts) and... well, i don't know what, specifically, he was involved with, like i said, but he saved a lot of people's lives and had a million stories. and the united states government didn't like him at all, so i take it as a good sign :). they fuck with me at airports because of my last name, i swear i'm on some kind of list. people all over knew his name, he was the gringo from alaska who would do anything, risk his life, to help you out, even when he was in his 70s. my favorite story, is that he was climbing a mountain and heard someone calling his name off in the distance, and when he found him, he was stuck, or falling, or something (i wish i could remember exactly) and his only hope was that he'd call the gringo's name and he would come and save him. he had never seen my dad in his life, but he knew about him. he was brilliant in physics and math, and once entered a car he built in a natural energy contest, but his entry wasn't allowed because it was too efficient. there is so much i could say about all the good he did but you probably wouldn't believe me.

anyway, yeah, i feel driven to make as big of a dent in the world as i can. if i don't, i feel like i don't deserve to be a Crowley. people who knew about him, know about me. people i've never met. so that's a different kind of fame, that i really want...

My family owned a town on the scotch/english border... we gathered fame for navigating, sailing for royalty, and piracy. Of course, Snowden is a common name there.

Which turned into a bunch of hillbillies in the Shenandoah Valley.

DQ, my dad was kinda like Einstein. He invented a radar camera original used to photograph the moon as Rangercrash landed there. It ended up having a military use on a top secret level for years to spot things like subs underwater when the Russians sent missles to cuba nad is used now to puta missle into the laps of just about any terrorists camp spotted by satellite from space. The clarity of the photos on the ground is incredible and goes through walls even. The thing is the radar was used to spot lost cities of ancient biblical lore by finding old dryed up river beds and people excavating that site right now to the pleasure of the archaelogical world community. He was famous among his colleages but hardy ever talked about what he did till years later like his part in deciphering the Sputnik spy signal whic hwas declassified 30 years later, that's when we decided as a country to make sure the cold war with Russia ended in our favor, suddenly did or we all might be living in a giant commune whether we like it or not.
So when I was puched in science and math in school, I rebelled when I got away from home and went ballistic into art and creativity. I ended up as a strange mix of being creative and patriotic as my photo below shows.

I wouldn't mind having a little more dough, but I wouldn't wanna be famous. No privacy, all the rumors, gossip. I'm very sensitive, I couldn't handle it.

I think it'd be pretty cool. You'd never have to work again, and you'd get everything for free anyways. And people are different to you when you're famous. You can be totally ridiculous and a total jerk, and be really rude and have mental breakdowns, and everyone will still love you. I can deal without privacy for all those luxuries. There has to be a downside for everything. This doesn't seem that bad.
