a new crochet market bag

What is it with me and pink lately?!? It seems I'm using up a lot of pink yarn for some reason!

Anyway, I just finished making this for my mom, yesterday. I had some leftover Bernat Boa yarn so I added it to the top and handles to make it more fringy and girly.

 

Very pretty. I like it a lot!

I've got a basic pattern to make market bags from cotton, but I'm trying to change up the stitchin' a little, for a bit more variety... I'm going to absolutely have to make a blue-green version for myself before I go to France next month, for the outdoor markets they have there!
