Depends what you want to do with your life - if you want to become a proffesional 'religionist' it might be ok - otherwise probably a waste of time and effort.

 

I'm minoring in eastern religion.... majoring in archaeology.

 

religion iz in one uf the major needz of everyperson, like food, you got to have some.

 

I'm headed towards a PhD in world religion myself, but then I love to study and teach cultures and philosophies. Outside of academia or pastoral work, though, you would be hard-pressed to find a job.
