Okay, so has anyone ever done this: okay. so I woke up this morning and as I was leaving i saw some friends on my way to class that i never usually see.I was like cool... so i go to class and I go in and i dont take a look around because I thought i was 5 min late for a test right. so i go in and my spot in class is taken so im like... okay. so i set down in the seat thats usually taken by the girl that looks like linda blair in my class. not even wondering why she wasn't there for a test. So I sit down, take the test, look up and i recognize no one around me. I thought it was because I had changed seating in the room. But no. theres an african american guy that sits behind me, he wansn't there, linda blair wasn't there, and a guy a call "vincent vega" wasn't there. I was all like... "who are you people?" I looked at the profs watch. it was an hour earlier than i was suppose to be there. wow, idiot! Anybody ever done this? Please, I need reassurance in the fact that Im not a total dimwit ditz. ?
Haha that's funny.... I haven't done that but I was reading the newspaper in the elevator once, got off on the wrong floor, continued to walk down the hall (each floor is identical) walk into someone else's floorhouse and and try and enter someone else's room....but it was locked! ....
i never did that, but i was trying to find my professor's office for a meeting. the building has 12 floors and i couldn't remember what floor it was on so i went to every floor to find it. it was on the 8th floor. i was 10 minutes late. haha
One time I had a dentist appoinment so I came to class late. I walk inside of the classroom and sit down in my seat which is in the front of the room. After about 10 minutes I turn around to talk to my friend who normally sits there but instead someone else is there. I look at the rest of the classroom in shock, accidentally scream, and then get up and start running out of the room. Just before I got out I tripped over a trashcan. It was so embarassing.
No, I have NEVER done anything similar to that. I have, however, seen students in my class who either missed a previous section lecture or needed to hear something again. What I find most disturbing about this narration is my having counted "okay" three times and "like" four times. In no instance was either of these words used correctly. What college and major are you in?
The valley girl speak was really funny, and I have gone into the wrong class before, but I am always paranoid about being in the wrong class, so I check text books and if I still can't figure it out I ask someone, course durring a test would be really hard to tell if you were already late...though not recognising anyone would have been a huge clue  I hate stuff like that, but more often with me it happens in the store when I think I am standing next to someone I know and it turns out to be a stranger and I have already started talking to them like I know them and they look at me like I am mental...or they are really confused, all depends on how you look at it.
Okay? Thank you for trying to insult my intellegence! Your comments prove that you are a self-rightous egotist who needs to calm down on the editing and revision of post written by college students. Im so sorry you have nothing better to do with your time than comment on the way I type. This is a forum. Chill the hell out dude! Like, for real!
Oh my god. I do that alot too. I dont know what happened. I think i had stayed up a little to late the night before. Alls well though. The prof said it was fine, except for the fact that i had a harder version of the test and the rest of my section had. I passed it, so its fine. :applause:
So does this mean that in addition to your being an English literature/creative writing major, or also minor in psychology? My comments should not be able to prove to you anything about my ego (which, by the way, is quite healthy thank you very much!). I've got plenty better to do with my time, DUDE. No need for me to chill as the temperature is quite nice this time of year. As for the mention of this place being a forum, yes indeed it is. A good definition of same might be : Any discussion group accessible through a dial-in BBS, a mailing list, or a newsgroup (see the network). A forum functions much like a bulletin board; users submit postings for all to read and discussion ensues. Contrast real-time chat via talk mode or point-to-point personal email. Since you posted, I took the initiative to post a comment which--I believe--is one of the purposes of the function. If you're so terribly uptight about comments regarding literacy, you might want to take a more objective introspective and reflective look rather than projecting vile/bile towards others. This of course, is all on a take-it or leave-it basis. Have a nice day
You know what, you're right. From now on I will continue to submit my posts in the most elequent way possible. Forgive me, Captain. I'm sorry, however, that you are so inclined to vent your hostilities upon a college sophmore. Yes, please by all means post what you choose; free speech for all. Yet, I find your method of posting rather hostile. And thank you very much sir. My day has been very nice actually. Am I to assume that yours was as well?
That walking into the wrong class stuff happens at my Uni all the time. My favourite was when I was sitting in class and about 10 minutes into the lecture this scraggly, scruffy guy strolls in with his headphones on loud blast, not noticing much. He went to take a seat, looked at the lecturer, looked back at his seat, did this enormous double take and then ran out...the best bit is that out of the 20,000 students that it could have been it was my flatmate..he's still being payed out for it..
I only walked into the wrong classroom once....but I just stood up after realizing where I was and said 'my bad', picked up my books and walked right out.
It never happened to me, but I had friends who went to the toilet during their classes and came back to totally different classrooms.... And once a friend of mine came to school 2 hours before the classes, it was about 5:30 in the morning and no one was there, she tried to enter the school because she thought she was late and the cleaning woman who was coming to unlock the school told her what time it is.....And she just went back home and went to school after 2 hours....
