[IMG][IMG] Someone had indicated elsewhere that there are distinct differences in how the two opt to behave in a gym. What do you think ?

Men hit on women constantly at co-ed gyms. Constantly. The word 'work' in the phrase 'work out' has lost all meaning at every co-ed gym.

This makes it sound like skeezy guys are hitting on women who really just want to work out... Whereas I'd say it goes both ways. I'm very careful about what time I will consider going to the gym on campus -- if you get there after about 1pm, the girls are more worried about how well their make-up is staying in place than about the quality of their workout, as they trot around in the little workout pants with "look at my butt" written across their butts... Of course, the guys are equally bad in their own way, hitting on the girls... But the girls play that game at least as much as the boys do.

The main difference I've noticed at the gym is that guys focus on building muscle, so lifting weights and whatnot, while the gals focus on burning calories, so doing cardio stuff. But the stereotype is never entirely accurate, as you do see males on the eliptical machines and females pumping iron, they're just less common.
