Hey leavin in 3 days. Just 3 questions. 1. Where is the best place to do currency exchange, Im flying out of new york jfk and would need $ to euro. Should I do it in new york or in amsterdam ? And where ? 2. Also I need to charge my phone , ipod and laptop in amsterdam . Is the plug the same or do i need a different one. 1. always change any currency in the country you are GOING TO, not coming from. But I agree with Fly, use your ATM card, or credit card, you get the best rates and pay no commission---although, you do have to pay small service charges (usually) when using this method. That being said: if you absolutely, positively have to change cash, (as a rule of thumb) do it at a reputable bank and not the places on the street (some are called "Chequepoint"--stay away!). Banks will give you the best rates and least commissions, or sometimes just a "flat-fee service charge." 2-no idea. 3-fly is right, Sativa will get you "high" while indicas will get you "stoned."
