Thanks all! You know what I've noticed Kirstyn? He is advanced in his motor skills, but he really doesn't talk much or well at all. He DOES do a few signs. I think some babies focus on verbal skills first and some on motor. I've seen babies his age who do speak way more/better than Jimmy. By the way, Leane has the SMOOCHIEST cheeks on the planet! *SMOOCH!*

Every child learns to speak at their own rate. Einstien said nothing until he was four years old, and then started speaking in complete sentences. When someone asked him why he didn't talk before he, supposedly replied, "I didn't have anything to say." :)

He'll talk when he's ready. One my freinds has the most adorable, intelligent nearly 3 year old boy. He barely spoke. I saw him a month ago, and he was still signing and saying about 10 words (nearly 3 years old) I saw him yesterday, and he's talking like a champ. I had a complete conversation with him, understood everything he said ect. His mama said, "He just started talking. Now we can't stop him." Don't worry. He's the way he is, and he'll learn when he's ready.

Leane "talks" but it's all bablles, lol. She grabs the phone and puts it up to her ear and walks around the house going, "hi, hi, hi, dapsfa dab dooh drojhk," lol, it's so cute! Leane seems to be focusing on both at the same time and is taking her sweet time, lol. She's still well on track, I've just always noticed that youy baby boy is so smart! it's cute!

    That's awesome!
My daughter (19 mo.) is much more into her motor skills than her verbal skills. She rocks her little babydolls and says "shhh shhh shhh" and pats their backs. It's so cute! She only says a handful of words, though. Most of them I have to tell her to say "Adrienne, say mama" and she will. But other than that, she doesn't say any words on her own, except "juice", "shoes", and "babies".
