Because she totally got past county level, bitches.

    I am uberly happy as of...now. :D
And, apparently, I am now involved in some environmental efforts in and around this here teh Carteret.
Quite excited about saving whales and beaches and chaining myself to trees, et cetera.
Pride and Prejudice is not a very enjoyable novel for me, I'm not gonna lie.
    The end.
    For now.

I'm thinking about some spoken word. Hmmm...Or Beckett!

    "GS- East

The Drama program at Governor’s School East is built upon two principles: an introduction to 20th/21st century innovation in theatrical forms, and the making of a student created work, or works. Focus is given to the creative process so that students move away from the traditional, script-based works and the concerns of “casting.” Instead, great effort is made to create an environment where students are encouraged to become more than “interpretive” artists, and to view themselves as intrinsic to the creative process: writing, designing, directing and producing a body of new work that stretches their ideas of what theater can be."

    sounds interesting and exciting

Now I'm glad I'm not the only one here in on YH in Governor's School. I felt left out. :D Going to Governor's School had been my dream for the past... I don't know, a good five or six years now. It's so much better than going to regular school. I get out early, get to drive home and have lunch.

I go to my home school every other day for two periods.

The thing that I cannot stand is that my county opposes the governor's school/extracurricular vocational tech/alternative schooling. They were going to build one in a bordering county so I don't have to go 100 miles a day, but our board didn't want to help fund it and my English teacher flipped because he knew I couldn't help coming back to my home school late, sometimes, due to traffic and getting gas and that I was devoted to it.

Environmental Science, Dual Enrollment History, and Vocational Tech (HVACR). It's on the same campus as a community college. I may start going there maybe next year.

I was given a double nomination for student ambassador last year... and I recieved it again this year, I think I've gotten different ones for the UK, France, Germany and Italy. A friend of mine in DE US History was a student ambassador in Russia.

I just don't feel like paying for it.

I wish I felt that way-- unfortuately, if I made all the loopholes and could control the halfassed public education system this country has going for itself, I'd be done by now.

Seems I'm spending a little more time on here lately as the holidays and cold weather starts rolling in. I'm getting to my lazy state where I say I don't feel like going hiking, backpacking, or geocaching in 36 degree weather. What I need to do is go over to Yorktown Battlefield and do biking before it gets colder. Lady Madonna being stuck in my head may have something to do with my mood of not wanting to go do that, at the moment.

It's 53 and sunny now, so I may. My mama ain't even home from church yet. I think I just may...
