Weird,Bizarre, Mysterious dog behaviour

The other day I saw a dog licking its testicles - man thats wierd, bizzare and mysterious -
I mean mysterious for a start how do they manage that - many a guy would like to know - how do you do that without breaking yr neck?
Whats wierd is why they do it? who knows except they look really pervy when they do it - Bizzare because they do it in public - cant they wait till theyre at home?

I'm not certain if your inquiry is a sincere one or not, but I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here and assume that you're just young and unaware or that you've never owned a dog before.

Have you ever noticed that a cat demonstrates the same kind of behavior? Or how about a hamster or a mouse? Or a fly, for that matter? What these animals are doing is washing and grooming themselves because they are not afforded the luxury of a shower like humans are. In actuality, Columbo; that a dog does this is not at all mysterious - you may find it weird and bizarre, but it is not mysterious. As for your questions about why they do it public and why do they not wait until they get home? I've got news for you, pal - dogs are not blessed with conciousness like most humans are - as such, they are not concerned with conducting themselves in such a manner in public - also, they don't have to concern themselves with being arrested for lewd and lacivious behavior like a human would if a human indulged in a similar activity in public. And, finally, a dog's level of intellligence dictates their behavior.
