one of my moms vases looks really sweet and i want to turn it into a glass bong, what do i need to get the holes (rush hole and stem) and what materials will i need, looking at an arts and crafts project =]
A drill bit, some electric tape (or duct tape), and your fine glass vase. Be very careful tho not to break it when ure drilling... its real easy to. Put 2 pieces of electric tape on your pre-heated spot where ure gonna drill. Then go for it nice and easy.
try not to let mom smack ya upside the head for breaking her nice vase i can almost guarantee you'll break it wear safty goggles, keeps glass outta your eyes & might keep mom from givin ya a nice shiner when she catches ya
really iw ouldnt try to do it on a really nice piece of glass without a diamond bit. just me tho it could still work without one.
no, but i bet most members have quick access to a hardware store. as for me, i do have glass/ceramic bits laying around, but thats besides the point.
It's not made of real diamonds, it's only like $10 for a diamond tip, and its really the only way you have a chance of not breaking this vase. I've heard that keeping the vase in a bucket of water (or just a sink) is a good way to keep it from overheating and cracking, but you need to have a waterproof drill for that to work i would think and who the fuck has a waterproof drill.
Seriously, go buy your own vase. You don't want to learn that the vase is some heirloom worth thousands of dollars after you turn it into a bong, so just go to a dollar store and get one (a lot of dollar stores have vases just for this purpose). Also, the chamber really has no effect on the taste of the smoke. As long as you have a glass slide it don't matter if you put it in a glass vase or a plastic jug (in my experience, some connisouers might correct me).
