why are ppl so mean on this forum? everytime i say something someone just cuts my goddamn nuts off (specially that guy with the mike gordon pic in his sig). i thought this was a place for ppl to discuss some of the greatest music out there; not a place for pompus assholes to shootdown other individuals' opinions or speculations.

i've enjoyed most of your posts. but the "trey tripping" one just seems kind of.....i can't think of the proper word. i don't know, but this forum has been down hill since 2001, it was full of much nicer, thought filled posts/responses....

because they are freaking picky heads.
and that's sort of what the forum is for.
To be fair all the way around, all have given as well as they got, so I'd call a truce and get back to the music.

If, indeed, this forum has been going downhill since 01 (andn I'm not sure it has, having been on it for six months or so at most), it might be a reflection, especially in the last two years, of the vacuum Phish's disbandment has caused.

There's only so much we can dig through; only so many small jambands we can talk of to a limited number of people who have listened or seen them, before we start navel gazing and tooling out of sheer desperation for something to do.

Phish's vacauum (no pun intended) is still shaking up the jamband scene (pardon the mixed metaphor there), especially with peeps like myself having an almost religious faith that they will return and that we just have to wait for the Third Coming.

shi, my old mantra was "there is life after dead."
and "old fish tends to smell (it's a verbal pun, I used it on LoS for a while)" is too mean... so
gee, what can I say that's reasonably nice, or at least well-intended?
    Oh, yeah

GO SE LIVE MUSIC YA PICKY ASS HEADS.

It's like sex: you'll find something that does it for you.
    I'm really branching tonight: EOTO
Travis and Jason from SCI do looping livetronica stuff.
Sure, I painted Bassnectar/ DJ Lorin (whomever he is this week) and Pnuman Trio and Soul eye [one show] and been to STS9/ Signal Path, but a complete livetronica with TWO people?
I'm a folkie at heart. This should be fun.

oh, Guyute, check out Phix. Very mid 90s good reditions of Phish. think of them as the Maze-alope Orchestra.
