Wow TV SHOWS are kicking ass now! this is crazy.

No wonder movie theatres are not making much money movies out now got crap stories and generic...people just have to stay home and catch an awesome show for free on tv...Movie industry has been suffering big time they need to get on the ball.

man all these new shows coming out and the storylines are awesome...this is funny because i never liked watching tv...because all the shows were cookie cutter and all about shock and shit at a time...now you got all these shows not trying to puish sexual boundaries and shock people but making you think and pushing your mind with some good stories...

I think LOST was the show that kicked off this trend of non comformist shows...they did something that was so off the wall and gutsy and succeeded.

that show heroes is tight.

that show jericho tight.

man i can name so many good ones now but the sad thing is some of those good shows might get canceled...

this is the first time i watched tv shows in like 7 years lol.

 

Jericho sucks. Logic has been thrown out the window with that show.

I got kind of into Jericho, but with the most recent episode, I'm starting to lose interest. I love LOST though, brilliant. And I've always been a fan of all those Law & Order and CSI shows.... all are quite cool. TV is getting better. I'm glad to see that finally we're starting to steer away from reality tv, personally I can't stand it.

 

I haven't really paid attention to tv much in the last few years so I've missed out on a lot. I agree though that there are a lot of incredible shows on these days. Has anyone happen to see the show "Help Me Help You" ? I think it's one of the funniest shows I've seen. Def in good tastes though since the subject matter is all about mental health. Election coverage has made the show difficult to see lately (that's just too bad since the show is much more entertaining than politics...) but on the 28th they're meant to have an episode with one of my favorite comedians kevin hart.

(BTW if you're a fan of the show the bloopers at http://abc.go.com/primetime/helpmehelpyou/ are incredibly funny!)


I think next to Help Me Help You, Lost is definitely one of the best recent shows.

Anyone know of other shows that aren't totally mean spirited or brainless gross out type comedy?

 

With shows like The Shield, Prison Break, 24, and of course American Idol things have improved

i never watched any of the shows ya listed, maybe cause i've been so used to there only being 2 shows worth watchin for the last decade
the simpsons and south park

maybe i should give those shows a try, but i've lost all hope for anything good on tv
