Do you remember your favourite cartoons when you were innocent kids? To jog a few heads, this was Heathcliff. They showed this right into the early 90's but then stopped suddenly. this was one of my favourite shows

Ulyssess 31 ruled, but then most cartoons did back in the day. What's awesome is that you can get most of 'em on DVD or download these days..!

Another favourite is Dogtanian. I would be sitting with legs open and my chin resting on my hands staring at the screen with Fluffy, my rabbit-each afternoon that it was on. Was so in love with Dogtanian himself and loved his little donkey. When he left for Paris in the first episode, I actually cried my eyes out.

I've gone and brought a few on DVD, they're worth it for the memories envoked even if i wont watch them that often.

Got Clangers, Ulyssess 31 collection, Series 1 & 2 of Transformers, Dangermouse boxset, Trap Door, and i intend to pick up all the Oliver Postgates that are available. I'm trying to persuade my friends to play them for their son, who they play all these modern Marvel cartoons, but they are so fast-paced and lacking any kind of depth or storytelling. Put on the Clangers and you are instantly transported to an utterly charming, gentle, happy world that still completely engrosses kids, as well as me..! I think this can only be a positve influence on kids in this MTV instant-everything generation.

I used to love the carebears:) Funshine bear, Braveheart lion, that wierd penguin and raccoon.

Also loved the star and heart buddys and used to sit glued to the screen. Mum used to put water in my eyes to avoid them drying up.
