i don't know how to spell it either, or rather i can never remember how to. and he was actualy one of three co-founders, along with adler and jung. and it's jung, not freude who is of most direct pertenance to the hemisemidemipseudoscience of dream interpretation.

what do i think of freude? freude was a dirty old man with erotic obsession. hmm i mean that not in a personal sense in his private life, about which i know almost nothing and could care less, only rather, how it colored his explorations of the mechanics of emotion.

maslow, in the 70s, contributed much to correcting many of the errors centered arround this, perhapse understandable, obsession.

Sigmund Freud has a very good book on understanding your dreams - "The Interpretation of Dreams." I am fascinated by Psychoanalysis.
