I'm interested in the same thing, I'll help you look. Mainly I'm just looking for any good sites where I can buy natural shampoo, but having a recipe to make my own would be just as good, maybe even better so I would know exactly what's going into it.

This is a reputable natural company, for what it's worth. Look at the ingredients, they look suprisingly similar to any other shampoo, but with natural sources. Your hair doesn't know the difference, but it's your money...

I'm glad I came across this thread. I actually have a sesitivity to Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfate, A very common detergent; it's even in baby wash and shampoo! Ever since I started using detergent-free shampoo my hair feels and looks much softer! I like JASON NATURALS SHAMPOO; there are many different scents. As far as a recipe, I have one; it's so simple! You will need a bottle of liquid baby mild castille soap and the essential oil of your choice (patchouli)10 drop s into 16 oz. bottle of the soap and shake it up. That's your shampoo. The soap may or may not leave a film; it depends on the type of water you have. You could also make a matching conditioner. Buy this suff from the health food store;it's called Tate's Natural Miracle Conditionehttp://www.thetatefamily.com. You can use it for so many things! You can just mix a drop or two of the essential oil into a pump of the conditioner. Hope that helps.
