I will be visiting my girlfriend who is abroad. We havent seen eachother for 4 months. She has an idea of around when I will be going but does not know the exact date. I have told her I will be passing to another country (for medical reasons) before I visit her, which is true. Im thinking of cancelling the treatment as I dont really need it and plan on making a surprise direct flight for when shes not expecting. Good idea or bad? I dont want her to think I was lieing to her about the treatment, but I also want to surprise her.

I like the idea. But I don't think you should skip the treatment, even if you say you don't really need it.

Other than that, I would love if someone did that for me. Surprised me like that.

That very much depends on her -- if she is very busy, she may be working her ass off now so that she can take some time off to spend with you... In which case, showing up unannounced could totally screw up her plans or could mean that you get to spend a few days getting very little attention while she finishes up this latest project.

On the other hand, if she just has a 9-5 job and isn't in school and doesn't have any other projects going on, then it could be nice.

And some people get a bug up their behinds about cleaning before a houseguest arrives...
