I am interested in finding books that teach about Christian Mysticism practices. Not just the meditation, but other daily practices.

Do you sit and wait for someone to post in this forum or what? :D Seem to like to mock people. Not complaining, just curious. Nothing wrong with making people question society and such.

But, not interested in the World Weekly News. Off topic and out of curiousity, how'd you get so cynical?

Did you honestly think that I would like the source?
Also, I did not request stories, but rather daily practices other than meditation.

Try 'A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man' by James Joyce.

Thomas Merton and Bede Griffiths spring to mind as two Christian seekers who maintained their Christian roots very strongly, though deeply involved with the practices of eastern faiths.

There's so much out there about the spiritual meeting of East and West on level and mutually-respectful ground...I hardly know where to start.

As far as practical instructional material...I'd suggest a search on Amazon, then bring a few titles you like here for comments.

I googled what it was. It's like a National Inquirer.

But since you like to take things so literal. I did request a book, not a newspaper, or collection of newspapers or articles, but a book. :p

You judge people because they have no proof that God exists. So prove WITHOUT showing me articles from the Weekly News is what I am requesting. You also can't give me anyone else's word for it. I believe you posted similar requirements for someone to prove that Jesus existed without using quotes from the Bible. And other believers' words are not enough. So, I want same proof with same requirements.

Do you know how ridiculous you sound when you say you are posting what I requested when you don't believe in it so how would you know that is what I am requesting?
Sorry, but I am not going to search through every thread that you made hoping to come across what I am looking for. Especially, since I know that you don't believe, as well as to the fact that almost every post I have read of yours so far is mocking people for their beliefs or making posts telling people that they are ridiculous for their beliefs.
Sorry, but based on the post you have made, I seriously doubt your sincerity in expecting me to find what I am looking for in your post.

I am here to learn about different beliefs in God. I am researching different aspects of religions. You are here tewlling people to prove it doesn't exist, that's a bit close minded.
As far as being a hypocrit, you told people in another post to prove there was a Jesus without using the Bible, then you posted things and said you no longer had your sources a week later. Why should we believe your sources that you can't cite when you won't even let us use one of our sources.
BTW, proof of Jesus, go to Jordan, His baptismal site is there, John the Baptist baptised him, and there is also John the Baptist church (rather the remains of it) to prove he existed.

I meant to type that you were telling people to prove it does exist.

I am not pissed off as you put it, and Christians don't get mad that they can't prove it. If my feeling is any reflection on what Christians feel when asked to prove it, then the feelings are the same mild annoyance that parents have when a child bugs them for a toy, and sadness for you that you are not willing to consider the possibility of something that can not be proven. When did you get so bitter? Feeling joy at pissing people off? Because we can not make you believe there is a God, does that make you feel superior to us? Why do you feel the need to feel this way? If this is what you need to get you through your days, then have at it. No one here is crying, and at the end of the day, we don't need to make someone feel bad to feel good about ourselves.

The fact that we do believe despite not being able to prove it according to what you consider proof shows that are faith is strong. It is funny, you call us fools for believing and make fun of us for not having enough faith.
