i don't think i even own a winter coat.... I'm allergic to heat so i don't like wearing a lot of clothes or ill get hives.
and I'm against wearing leather , so thats out.

i prefer a nice warm yet light hoodie.... and i toss it in the dryer for 15 minuets with a dryer sheet so it doesn't smell like weed.

 

I own a leather jacket. It works perfectly as far as comfort, warmth, scent and storage.

ok, maybe not scent, if you smell the inside pockets, they reek of dope. but, I keep two pipes and some weed on me at all times, haha.

 

Yeah, I generally wear one of my leather jackets whenever I smoke. One question, wouldn't suede absorb the smell about as much as cloth?

 

Suede might, but probably because it's more porous and has more loose fibers to hold on to.

And yeah, when I wear leather I feel invincible. Especially when I wear my new LRG hat and have the front open and the collar flipped up.

Aviators are a nice touch too. Lol.


I don't know why anyone is against wearing leather or fur... It's just the same as eating meat. They don't skin the animal alive or anything, they do it when they've passed/been butchered and they're far better than any man-made fabrics.

Yeah, I'm not sure what my stance is on leather. I used to be a vegetarian up until about two months ago when I realised that it's the food chain and we're supposed to eat meat. I haven't really thought about the leather and fur but somehow it seems wrong. But we have been doing that since hunter-gatherer times... Hmmm.

 

I look at it like this : Meat tastes good.

I also look at it like this : If you don't eat it, someone else will. All they'd be doing with the leather and fur is throw it out... Why not buy it instead?

i just bought a new leather jacket lasat night because this thread reminded me how much i love them. even though i have 2 but neither fit properly so i might just give them away....
