lets just share were in the world we've been and tell storys of the past hippy generations and the present
like for instance i went kayaking this past week with a bunch of buddies and we all tripped alot around a bonfire and slept in our vans
I went to Egypt and stared at the sky. It stared back at me glowing red slowly melodically changing into radiant purple still burning the sand and my feet every step and step and nothing really happened.
Out under the New Mexico stars, a bunch of friendly folk, a crackling bonfire, guitars and songs, a little smoke...
i didn't go anywhere yesterday but i did have a jehovah's witness knocked on my door with his 12 yr. old boy... i asked him if he believed in gay marriage?, he said he didn't and so i asked him to get off my property telling him as he left "homosexuality is the way"... some people criticize for being a heterophobe but i think heteros are so strange and weird
I once went to Expo 67 in Montreal with my family. Because we couldn’t speak French almost every one treated us like crap. The only people that were nice to us were a household of hippie’s who gave us a free place to stay for the night. So if you folk are members of this forum thanks again.
this past memorial day, we ate a bunch of rolls and had a frickin blast on the beach...picked up trash after asshole drunks who think that beer cans just disappear into oblivion, spun in the sand(a game I like to play), had profound conversations, drank ALOT of o.j., watched the sun come up, talked to everyone that was walking their dog, picked up more trash(if you ever come to the beach, PLEASE dont be a lazy fuck and leave your shit around!!! you have no idea the shit we find), picked seashells, smoked a bowl(that took the trip in another direction) took a nap(albeit a short nap) ate sushi ,drank sake and had the best time all summer long
My family of 5 walked around the state of Washington for a month, pulling our possessions on a cart. We didn't ask for rides, but if people were curious and stopped to see why we were walking down the road and offered a ride, we would ride with them and often go home to eat dinner and spend the night. We met so many genuinely kind human beings on our journey, people from many walks of life, all interested in sharing and helping others.
A day or two ago I was wandering about deep in the woods around here and I found the remains of an old hut with walls made from the stones that lie around in the area and a roof (mostly collapsed) made of branches, and inside there was some furniture made from branches and ivy and stones. I don't imagine anyone'd been there for a good many years, so it was neat to find.
I like your post, A.B.E. That's something I've always meant to do (though I've done a decent amount of hitchhiking...)
Then there was the partay out in the country where everybody was skinny dippin in the pool between j's. Lots of guitar bangin and great food and talkin and laughin. Then later me and a special someone snuck into the workshop where there happened to be a mattress and...well...er...had our own little partay. I wonder where that sweet thing is now, bless her.
went to california and hung out in my aunt's garden with my family. went to florida and hung out on the beach and in the water at night. could barely see the stars, but it was still beautiful. went to yellowstone and saw animals up close. the buffalo were incredible. so powerful. so beautiful. went to mexico and felt the heat even after the sun was long gone. go out in the backyard and hang out all the time. when the grass was tall, my friends and i played like little kids. go to the country where my g-pa lives all the time. go on float-trips and hang out around the fire at night. see the stars. have a good time.
