I know I can find this answer if I look for it but I'd rather just post here

I'm out of weed but I've been collecting stems. I know for tea you should use milk or cream because THC is fat soluble. What if I just put milk in a cup then in a microwave. Boil the milk. Then put my stems in there. Should that work?

I guess this might depend on the boiling temp. of milk. If it's lower than water, then it might not gegt all the THC. If it's too high... well I can't think of anything going wrong there.

But would heating milk do a lot better than heating water, then putting milk in it?

Milk contains 87% water. Milk boils at a higher temperature than water does. I suggest boiling the milk.

You need a good amount of stems, how many do you have? I usually save up a good amount of stems and toss some bud in there too to even it out.

I've got a few ha;f O's worth of stems. I believe I have a sufficient amount. But I don't have a Tea ball. Should I just throw the stems in there?

My buddy blaze hard just tosses them in a pepper grinder or something of the like and grinds them into his tea. I ususally do the same and dont even worry about a bag. Its fine enough that its not cumbersome to swallow.

Though im sure everyone has their own methods of doing this.

If you get it to hot the THC will vaporize, plus boiled milk is fuckign nasty. This si my method. Simmer milk, not boiling, throw the stems in there, let it simmer for a good 15-30 minutes. Strain all the stems out, then you can add the milk to tea, drink it, make a milkshake, icecream, what ever you want.

Simmer? I'm using a microwave. Should I reheat inbetween these fifteen minutes? SHould I grind like swazo said or just plain ol' ungrinded stems?

my method uses the stove, you're goign to have to watch it liek a hawk in the microwave, and stop it if it starts to boil. It's going to be much more difficult. Stems only have THC on the outside layer, the green part. I just throw them in. But, if you want to take an extra step, I'd slice of the green outside, instead of chopping them up.

If you want to use the microwave, I'd try somethign else, like maybe mixign the stems with some peanut butter, or normal butter.

I might actually use the stove then. I live with my girlfriend though, and she's not a very big fan of weed. (Ironic that she's dating a stoner.) Would this stink up the house or stain the pot I use with a weed flavour? She has to use it too, I don't want to ruin her meals just because I wanted to get high. Maybe washing it right after I'm done?

Won't fuck up the pot, but, it will stink the house up like crazy, I'm talking really bad.

I'll crack a window. I've got Chamomile Tea. Should I just simmer enough milk to cover all the stems, then pour it into my stepped tea afterwords?

soo... you probably live in an aprtmen right... ??? well, does your vent above your stove vent up, or re-circulat into the room... u can tell by opening the cubord above your stove.... do you see a air duct running up threw the celling? if so, remove the filtter from your stove hood and turn the fan on high... (removing the filter improves air flow out) be sure to crack a window as to make it EZ for the air to come in to your aprtment and out the vent.... this, if done right and combined with some smelly candles or somthin, will take care of the oder... or at least it has worked for me... then again, my room mates puffs too, so he wouldnt even ask twice if he smelt some green in the kitchen... lol
