Just a couple hits

i haven't smoked in a year and 1/2; until last monday night. i had just found out that morning a close friend had comitted suicide. a new friend came to my rescue that night and said the magic words" wanna get smoked up?" i didn't realize how soothing a good smoke could be with a friend. my mind let go as we chattted and listenec to the Dead; all was well. Thank you Mary Jane.

 

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, but I'm pleased to hear of your reunion with Mary Jane.

Thats really special that herb could be a tool to help you cope with an experience that is as sad as a friend commiting suicide. Sorry about your friend and hope all is well with u. The Dead is always a good addition to any smoke session too!

Damn dude. Serious? Sorry for your loss man. You shouldn't feel like shit for smoking weed and being happy though. I mean, wouldn't your cousin want you to be stoned and happy?

Sorry, I don't mean to bring yall down, normally I would have smoked a blunt in his honor. But, he suffered from drug induced schizophrenia, so I'd make me feel bad.

Thanks man. You're pretty cool yourself. I wouldn't offer anything to alot of people on here, but there are lots of people, like you and plenty of others, who would obviously help someone in need, and they deserve the same when they are going through hard times.

Was that a joke? HF members have gatherings every year. I haven't been to any of them, but I would like to, especially with all of our MJ forum brethren.

 

They do? I wasn't aware of this. Where can I find information on this? Do you know where it's usually at?

 

I'm not sure when or where, but I know they arrange them every once in a while. There are a few threads about them, but they are hidden within the "Events and Festivals" forum. You could probably ask around for some info. Maybe soaringeagle knows a little about them, but I'm not sure.

 

To you and the original poster, may you guys always remeber the good times you spent with your loved ones. Those times are the reasons their passing makes living members sad. Hold on to these memories, in the end is it not better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all?

 

Well, I have lost some loved ones in the same way, and I have felt bad for my love of MJ.... but that is what "The man" wants us to think...society tells us what we do is bad.... but who does it hurt? it helps allot of people across the nation and even across the world!!! we have medicinal users all threw out the US!!! you an I have not been fortunate to get the government to condone our habits, even thought they are beneficial to us!!! I am sorry to hear about your loss and I offer my condolences to you... if you need any thing or just some one to take your mined off of the occurrence... PM ME!! I don't know what we will talk about, but we can have a nice conversation!! :-D
