Hi, i am a balloon twister and i would love to include gay parties and weddings but i havent a clue what to twist? i thought of two male or female symbols interlinked but then i went blank. do gay people still like pink hearts and flowers and doves? please educate me, then i can educate the many twisters around the world on the american twisters site of which im a member.(mbd2.com) thankyou for your cooperation
Hey, I make balloon animals too! I can't say from experience what gay people like as far as balloon sculptures, as I've never done a gay party or wedding, but I would probably venture to say that I would imagine that they like much the same things that straight people like--various animals, hearts, flowers, etc. One thing I kind of like to make is a bunch of grapes--for that, you take a purple balloon, blow it up halfway and just start twisting bubbles (make them fairly small but not too big) and twist the bubbles together at several points--after a while, it should start looking like a bunch of grapes! And if you want a bigger bunch, take a second balloon and do the same thing and twist both balloons together! It's pretty cool! Speaking of cool, your interlocked male and female symbols sound like a cool idea--give 'em a try! Peace!
