Hahaha! I just knew someone was gonna bring that up... No one has ever died in a Pride ring. There might be a few injuries here and there, but none too serious either. Now this site offers some interesting reading to some of you ashtray hoggers.
You can say that nobody has died in a pride ring all you want, but people have died due to injuries in the ring. James Murray, for example, died two days after his last fight in 1995. And that statistics is crap. It doesn't compare smoking with deaths from athletics. I want one that compares it with athletics!
Well it's a no brainer that smoking kills more people than athletics does, they put health warnings on cigarette packets not on cheerleading batons or boxing/mixed martial arts rings! I can't believe that you people are defending something that is so unhealthy to this extent, you haven't got a leg to stand on and you know it! So just admit defeat. Did you even read about all the risks on that site???

It probably is a 'no-brainer' that cigarette's kill more people, but the fact of the matter is I have a right to smoke. No non-smoker, nor smoker, can tell me otherwise about my choice to do so. I'm not defending smoking. I'm defending my right to do so. But you were the one who offered to find the statistics to back up your argument. Ok, in that case, I said that I'd provide statistics of cheerleading deaths and I will, here it is.... 1. 1 cheerleading death ever! There you go, now stop acting silly, you know that I'm right, smoking is dangerously unhealthy (even to those around a smoker). Now you say that you have a right to smoke, fine! Look, when two athletes step into a ring or octogon, they're stepping in at their own risk. No one is making them do it. Smoking affects everybody else around them. Will you please just think about what I'm saying???
