Beats me I am not really good with chemistry but if it isn't the chemical you think you ordered (if this is the case) it is possible that the vendor you ordered it from (again if this is the case, perhaps it is indeed a different way of writing it or you didn't order anything and just want to know) put a fake chemical name on the bag to fool customs. It is called rejiggering and tends to be a fairly common thing for vendors to do. But then again both names end with tryptamine, I doubt they would rejigger a chemical name to look like that! So really I have no fucking clue, I just want to post.

From two separate chemical supply house catalogs notice FW and CAS# match.. I'd say yes.

    N,N-Dimethyl-5-methoxytryptamine/3-(2-Dimethylaminoethyl)-5-methoxyindole
    C13H18N2O
    F.W. 218.3
    [1019-45-0]

    5-Methoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine
    3-(2-Dimethylaminoethyl)-5-methoxyindole; 3-[2-(Dimethylamino)ethyl]-5-methoxyindole; 5-Methoxy-DMT; 5-OMe-DMT
    C13H18N2O F.W. 218.30 1019-45-0
