So the reason gays shouldn't get married is not because it hurts anyone else, but because it doen't conform to your beliefs, and the way you were raised. Wonderful, thats real mature. What are you even doing here, honestly? I'm done with you.
The main reason gays shouldn't get married is also why I'm against free love--major spreading of uncontrollable diseases. This does hurt everyone else. Of course, marriage or civil liberties doesn't stop this.. so it doesn't really matter either way, which is why it really isn't a big deal to me. Yes, I'm a religious person. I really don't see how it's immature. Try telling it to Quakers, or Amish even. Not to appear arrogant or anything, and all due respect, but I never knew you started... nor do I really care if you did, I don't play basketball and I'm not out to prove anything to anyone, it's a matter of personal opinion. That's where I was trying to leave it and that's where I'm going to leave it be at this point, as I have better things to do.
bush is an incompetent moron who will never get anything right. the US will be long gone before he does anything right. i'm canadian though so i only partially have to deal with bush.
George W. Bush was hand picked to be president by the higher power controlling world government, he has and will play a huge role in the worlds history wether you like it or not. There is a reason why we are in Iraq, good or bad.
Actually... I'll have to add that it doesn't matter how much you bash Bush, and I agree with the person above from BC, you have to look positively and moderately for some sort of common grey ground to compromise upon, otherwise it's hollow, and at this point, there is no turning back. If people kept on bickering about issues that were off the dart board of resolutions and proposals, there would never be common ground. And if you want to find a majority or push something further, start talking to your representitives--I know I have. In fact, I brought up and made my point over and over along with several other individuals on the removal of the James River Reserve Fleet until Davis (R-VA), my neighbor, proposed it and secured $47,000,000 for their removal, as they're harming the James' environment. (The James River Reserve Fleet consists of about 60 decommissioned U.S. Navy warships anchored in Virginia's James River near Newport News. The ships are gradually being towed away for scrapping. From 2001 to March 2005, 31 were disposed of. [2]) Oh yeah, and if you wish to have one of the ships, I believe the gov't will pay you a million dollars to take one off of their hands. I know a guy who decorated his entire house with brass nautical items after he started dismantling one of the ships and then started selling the metal.
Your not immature because you're religious. I'm kind of reliqious myself. But you are imposing your religion on other people by saying we should force them to follow some of your beliefs. Guess what? That's sorta what Saddam Hussien did, except on a bigger scale, and probably with a different religion. (I'm just guessing that you are probably not a muslim. but mabye you are that's not important). You don't force people to follow your beliefs. that's not even part of being a hippie really, it's part of being a human being.
