Im going to a party next week and its pseudo-formal and needs something that is pink or purple and i have nothing that is...

i was thinking of buying a suit from a charity shop and dyeing it, is the only thing that it needs to be 100% cotton?

also i was going to maybe tye-dye the shirt, any helps?(ill look thru forum too )

    Thankies!

linen dyes well enough, wool needs acid dye.
What dye is available to you in your time window?
(really, I'd find the right color at the charity shop, myself, maybe look in women's, too.)

Natural fibres are the easiest and best to dye, that's the rule. :) Good luck with your suit.... if you did it, post a pic!
