More and more recycled arguments and what if questions arise here. I'm left to wonder if it's truly a place for debate and deeper understanding or a get high and give it to the Christians forum.

Some of you even though there's malice in your heart (FedUp etc.) provide scenarios that require deep thought in questioning one's own beliefs. However much of the topics lately have either been asked, handed or shoved at us about a million times and/or contain logic most 5 year olds would poke fun at.

Could we possibly set up a second faq so we could just refer back to that?

well if you cant answer the logic most 5 year olds would take a guess at - like "why do you keep saying there is a monster under the bed - when plainly there isnt"
(which equates to "why keep praying if theres not a god") then can you really say its the atheists fault ? if the christians wont go argue at the temple of atheism then the athiests shld bring it to the temple of christianity.
someone has to let them know theres no point praying - its just excruciating too tempting not to tell them
I mean would you let someone keep believing something that is untrue - if their belief was detremental to your health - or theirs?

These same arguements will continue forever...read the Bible....they have always been...and will always be..it is human nature to question...and debate..and there is nothing wrong with it....I value the opinion of all sides...its healthy to ask why...God wants us to have our own minds....he doesnt want people to follow blindly...faith wouldnt exist without questions !!

Columbo I HAVE brought it to the atheists. Check to see who's thread has the highest count in said forum sir. It's not a "monster under the bed" that we're having a problem with. First off we're not the only religion who believe in a supreme being. Yet, we have to carry this burden for every religion Second no one can prove there's no God.

Why isn't anyone over at the Hindu forum going on and on with simple and insulting questions by nonbelievers? They believe in TONS of supreme beings. No one ever gets on this forum going..."Okay, here's the evidence there's NO God. I'm laying it all out for you." Nope, never like that. Have you read some of the threads we get? Seriously.

Erzebet1961 never once did I say for everyone to stop asking questions. However if your question has been answered thousands upon thousands of times and you haven't looked for the answer yourself do you really want the answer or are you playing stump the Christian? Because if you're playing stump the Christian make sure you come with something original. That's how me and FedUp became buds.

FedUp Dave has more malice towards Christianity well at least Fundamental Christianity then probably anyone on this forum. Yet he constantly comes with new angles and articles to make you think. When you call him on the fact that a post isn't up to par he'll acknowledge it and come up with something twice as venomous and thought provoking.

Maybe if you had a better understanding of the predicament from a christian you would understand that - but chill out man its only a concept its not like youre going to heaven if the muslims and hindus are wrong and youre right - were all sinners - most likely youll end up same place I do - we should set up a forum when we get there.
    what the christians say
    http://www.philosophyofreligion.info/existenceisnotapredicate.html
look - christian debate on logical proofs
they are saying - we cannot prove god because existence is not a predicate - Kant was right - if we want to prove god we need empirical evidence - now all that atheists are saying is - show god or its silly praying if you cannot bring god to account - to show himself - to prove that you are right -
    AND I SAY
so why do I pay tax to educate your kids in a doctrine that is false ?
at least science is based on a study of empirical evidence
    http://www.philosophyofreligion.info/existenceisnotapredicate.html

chill out man - its only some words - know what a mean - its not like its a life and death thing - hahaha - it might get a bit voracious in the middle but
that makes your heart race dont it - pumps the blood makes you feel alive
I dont mind christians Im saying just let it flow - test your beliefs and stay convinced - argue with at least the force of will against will. When rocks clash a spark is produced sometimes that we can all be amazed at
only dont slag off the arguer slag off the argument
