Okay I need help. For the past few months I've been feeling really sick. Every morning when I get up I have terrible nausea and I can't eat anything. Sometimes it goes away and other times it lasts for most of the day. I also get an upset stomach and cramps most days. I don't know what it could be. I went to my doctor yesterday but she didn't know what was wrong with me and didn't give me anything to help. I've been taking oil of peppermint and silica. Both help but don't get rid of the problem. It's been going on for so long now, it's messing me up and I can't enjoy anything because I always feel so sick. Please does anyone know anything natural I could try? I'm really desperate!

Lots of Love and Peace. :p

I cant tell my your profile if your male or female... if your female and have been sexually active... get a pregnanacy test, not suggesting anything... just to make sure!Otherwise maybe a food allergy of some sort?

have you been taking anti biotics recently? they have the tendency to destroy the stomach flora, so you could try taking acidophillus tablets.

    are you pregnant???

have you eaten stuff like glass!!!????

do you eat things like muesli in the morning? or hard dry foods that scratch your stomach walls, eat some fruit instead, try to eat foods with liquid in them. i know someone who was getting crippling pains in his stomach due to scatches on the stomach wall. no-one had told him to stop eating stuff thats causes it!!!

what are your stools like? if you don't mind me asking? have you ever had blood in them?

do you think that you might have stomach ulcers?? do you take medication to relieve this pain? you can buy this stuff at the supermarket / chemist now i think - "zantac"

do you have periods where you feel really hungry and then when you eat only very little you suddenly feel full up and can't eat any more??

    are you being poisoned??!!!

have you been punched in the stomach

go to a doctor get a second opinion, if tests don't seem to reveal anything then perhaps they need to look into your stomach. an ordinary gp can't really evaluate this stuff thats why they work as a gp not as a specialist, they are a middle man who normally refers people onto to specialists

Okay, well I'm not pregnant I know that much and I haven't taken any anti-biotics for years. Nothing there really clicks other than the feeling hungry and filling up quickly. I don't know any allergy that could cause this but I guess I should look into that. Somebody recommended I try acidophillus. Do you think that might help?

    Lots of love xxx :)

get a second opinion from a doctor. you need some tests run on your blood etc
you will probably need an inspection of your stomach?????? i dunno!!

    lifted from a website

(Endoscopy - an exam of the esophagus and stomach using a thin, lighted tube called a gastroscope, which is passed through the mouth and esophagus to the stomach. The patient's throat is sprayed with a local anesthetic to reduce discomfort and gagging. Patients also may receive medicine to relax them. Through the gastroscope, the doctor can look directly at the inside of the stomach. . )

in the meantime reduce your intake of meat

in the meantime this might help....

eat a couple of apples everyday, eat the seeds of the apple (they are not poisonous!!! i eat them all the time, i ate three apples today!!)

eat some apricots , split the apricot, find the kernel of the apricot, crack it open and eat the seed with the apricot with the fruit. chew it thoroughly with the seed, you can do this with peaches as well. don't drink or eat pineapples after eating this stuff for 8 hours.

make sure the fruit is organic.

you probably need to see a specialist for this problem whatever it is, a specialist will probably get a handle on this problem. you need to get cracking! start making tracks for a professional opinion tomorrow. it could be anything stress, who knows what but what is important is that you seek professional advice sooner rather than later. try the acidophillus as well.

i had the same problem earlier this year, but soon found out it's medicine i take daily against acid reflux..only i've taken it for 6 monthes and it started to do more harm than good. is there any medicine you've been taking for a while that might do this? and have side affects like nausea??
good luck - i know its horrible and makes you feel like doing nothing! the only thing that helped me was to eat yogurt and sometimes cereal. well, good luck, maybe check with another doctor

Perhaps WebMD.com could help. I go there for a lot of resources/ problems w/ myself. Yeah, this is gonna sound cheezy, but only YOU know how you feel, so ask questions next time you visit your doctor. Questions like, "should this be happening?" "what is going on with me that is NOT normal?" Most times, when people go to thier doctor, they are passive-aggressive and just sit there and nod thier head and believe that the doctor knows all. Well, doctors (obviusly) run tests to see what the problem is. Don't be afraid or feel you're being too annoying when you ask questions -that's your time and money -you are entitiled to ask. (Not to mention, it's like taking a test and you're feeling kind of uncertain. Just rule out all the ones you know it's not, questions do that BTW, that way you are closer to an answer).

If this is an intestinal problem more than the stomach then IBS could be the reason. Causes bloating, cramping, nausea, indigestion, gas. Check out http://www.helpforibs.com/ Or possibly a liver problem in which case fats may be causing digestive problems. Maybe try cutting back on them and see if this helps at all.

Dude...this sounds like the same problem I had. When I was a kid I'd feel sick to my stomach all the time, that went on for about a year or so and went away. Then last year it happened again, this time I had to be hospitalized because I couldn't eat and I was put on nexium, which didn't really seem to help. They also put me on paxil. After being on paxil for awhile it went away, and now I'm not nauseated all the time. I thought I was imagining it...and I still think I was. I was never diagnosed with anything, but various mental disorders can cause physical symptoms. This is starting all over again now, and I think it could be phsyomatic symptoms (sp?) of my schizophrenia and I have a whole slew of mental disorders wrong with me besides that.

Get a second opinion. Do you have depression or anything like that? that might be an underlying cause? stress?

yah, they thought my mystery belly pain was all in my head too. Especially when I was younger. Sent me to head shrinkers, gave me antidepressants, the whole nine yards. Turns out it was endometriosis all along, but it took 29 years to get a diagnosis and any sort of treatment for it.
