Does anyone else notice this? My dreads are maybe a couple weeks old or something like that. But when I wash my hair with dreadshampoo about every two days (if I go longer than that I scratch my head till it bleeds, not good =/ and I have put aloe in it as well still no dice). Anyways when I put the shampoo in my dreads and roll them in, I then put my hair under the shower, and seriosuly like MUD comes out. Tons of dirt falls on the shower floor and its really gross. I used wax for like the first 3-4 days, but have stopped since then and it seems to all have come out so it is not that. Seriously how do you deal with it. My hair looks and feels clean, but every time im in the shower, it is just completly gross watching this dark murkey water form on the floor once I rinse my hair out.

odd i never have that unless my dreads literaly been draggin through the mud for weeks
are u sure u got all the wax out?
    wax attracts and holds dirt
if your scalps that messed up..maybe its not mud but bloood?
hmm its that way after 2 days?
my guess is u stil got alotta wax in em
that would explain all the probs u describe i believe
wax is pretty difficult to get out

I've never had that problem either. are you around a large amount of dust through out the day. like work in a shop or something.

well its not blood, becuase when i wash every two days, there is no problem. And for at least more than a couple times, I have just sat under the hottest water my shower will pump out, and the dreads feel like the wax is out. Yeah it is nasty stuff.

Odd part is, when I do really nasty stuff like sand fiberglass or climb under houses, or do drywall, I either wear a bandanna, or a shower cap, so I don't know how that happens.
