As soon as I read about what he said about Tupac, I knew when i scrolled down a litttle farther, I'd see that negative pic of you blowin!

 

I know how much respect Pac gets on these forums, espeially from smokindude so i thought i'd kill two birds with one stone. I do enjoy the occasional Tupac song, however, I do think he is a bit of an overrated artist. I very strongly feel had he not died a decade ago, he definitely wouldn't be as popular as he is today. I think many people are 'Pac fans because its the cool thing to do.

 

I respect your opinion. Although, i strongly disagree. The "cool" thing to do, would like all this new shit like young jeevy, young joc, mike jones, 50 cent, the game, and all that FAKE rap. Its all fake and put out there just to entertain. Tupac actually wrote every single word of his lyrics and means everything he says, because he lived it. Atleast in my school, im one of the few who appreciates pac. Everyone goes for this "whos the biggest pimp with the slickest shit". It sickens me.

Ive never seen Brady brag or try to steal the show at all. Ive never heard of this in my life. I guess everyone outside of MA whos just pissed that Brady wins all the time like Kobe used to, sees things that way.

EDIT: I think the same of Kobe Bryant. Its noticable hes a coky son of bitch, but Brady just goes out and does what needs to be done w/o a cocky attitude. And wins Superbowls.

Neither my friends nor myself have ever been into the rap scene, I personally I don't find any appeal in the music. You think Tupac's music was put out to do more than entertain? I don't, and it doesn't matter if everything he wrote was true and he lived it, it is still produced to entertain. ou don't become the world's top selling rap artist by not trying to entertain. Many of the people I used to go to school with thought Tupac was the man, for no reason. He was the cool rapper to listen to; just as it was the cool thing to talk down on the newer rappers about not being legit.

 

Tupacs music was put out to entertain, but also to tell his fans who he was as a person and his life. Alot of people like him for his thug mentality, but they dont know shit about Pac and dont deserve to be his fans.
