i'm about to go on a road trip with the family.....i'd like to be able to get really stoned with some really good pot first, and maybe have a nice bottle of taddy porter before hitting the road....make it a lot more pleasant. i should have gotten a bottle of sake and just filled up a water bottle......
for my acute sinusitis to go away and to be able to enjoy my bottle of chimay cinq cents, which i dont' think i'll be able to fully enjoy until the sinusitis goes away
oh, man....that stuff is great! do you smoke at all? if you do you should get a good cigar and have it with some of that beer sometime.....its a good match. i had a la flor dominicana double ligero chiselito with a bottle of cinq cents one time and almost died it was so good! not a PERFECT match, but good no less!
i'm not sure which i like better....chimay cinq cents, or chimay grande reserve....either one i prefer to the premiere, but they're all wonderful.....still, not the best in the world....but DAMN they're still good!
i know, i've read so many good reviews on it and i just had to get it. also have a bottle of St. Bernardus triple... i don't know much about cigars - though i would really like to get into them, not a lot, but maybe a 2-3 cigars a week.
i'd like to try st bernardus, but have yet to find it in my area. maybe i'll order a bottle or two online. cigars are good....most good cigars have enough nicotine to give you a little buzz, but nothing like cigarettes. it would be entirely possible to smoke 2-3 a week without getting addicted, and it wouldnt hurt the wallet as much as being a daily smoker. everyone has different tastes, but i could tell you some brands i enjoy..... the only thing is that their quality depends very much on how they're stored, how they're rolled, how they're treated after harvest, how they're grown, and where they're grown. there are a TON of factors. one cigar out of one box could be mediocre and another from the same box could be really good. some brands are far more consistant than others....there are a lot of cigars that if you get them, you're pretty much garaunteed a good smoke.... but theres a lot of variables. but despite the occasional disappointment, the good ones are good enough that i looooooooooooove my cigars. passionately....so good! if you've not really gotten into good cigars yet, then i'd suggest sticking with milder ones to start with. there are some really good mild ones, and they generally also have less nicotine, which is a plus for folks who dont really smoke much. i'd suggest the macanudo {brand} hyde park {size, comparable to a robusto}, the carlos torano {brand} casa torano {line of cigar} toro {size}, or a CAO {brand} gold {line} robusto or just go into the tobacconist's and ask for a recommendation. any tobacconist worth his stogies should be able to point you in the direction of a good, affordable, mild to medium cigar.
thanks for the recommendations we seem to have a fairly similar taste in beer (from the postings over inthe beverage forum), so we might also ahve the same taste in cigars too. i'll check to see if i can find a tobacconist around boston - i'm sure theres some around. i've smoked some cigars, but they've been pretty crappy and pretty dried out, so i'd like to smoke something decent before passing too much judgement
Did somebody say Chimay? What I would like best right now is to get over this stomach bug that I've had for the past two days. I have been having the liquid shits continuously and my ass is just raw to the point I am in excruciating pain every time I go to the bathroom. Sorry for the graphics, but I am just telling it like it is.
I've achieved dark beer..It's not Chimay (need more pesos for that) but, it is GOOD! *ahem* I hope you feel better Pressed Rat.
Some outrageously amazingly good sex, wrist cuffs and back being kissed for ages included, with someone I care about and trust. No one really fitting the bill just yet. To either be truly drunk or totaly sober, not this tipsy-between stage. To be single, or in a relationsihp with someone I love and trust and is very sexually compatbile with me.
