tattoos???

I don't have any tattoos yet. I have always planned on getting them, but I refuse to do it until I come up with a design that is good enough. I always cringe when I go in to get a piercing and see people picking out random flash to put on their bodies. As of right now, I am wanting some sort of mandala between my shoulder blades and a Greek phrase across my lower back. I don't think I want any colors.

oh i live in chicago too...i hope you don't live too far from where i live cuz i got mine today and my mommy and daddy would just kill me if they knew..
go to clark street mall theres a place there that doesn't mind if you're under 21 but idk if they'd do arms cuz that might show since youre only 17...but go and see they might do it anyway...its pretty easy to convince them
i got a little star on my hip..it didnt even cost too much only $45 but it wasnt colored, and it's a baby...oh and it didnt hurt at all it actually felt good...but im weird so..

and juan (the guy that does it) is fucking hot!!

Definitely good advice, think hard about your tattoo, you don't want to get sick of it so get something timeless and something that has a real personal meaning for you which doesnt fade with time (the meaning that is). Stay away from popular band stuff and anything to do with fashion. Maybe it'd be better to wait til' you have a really awesome design in the wings.

I've got a small version of the batman emblem on the back of my neck, because he was my chilhood hero, (well actually I was pretty open about it til I started realising that wasnt the thing that young ladies did at 11 years old:& ) and secretly the adventure aspect of what Batman was all about will appeal to me forever.

 

i've liked nirvana since the first time i heard teen spirit in 91. thats 13 years that ive loved nirvana, i dont see that changing

For the people that don't have tatoos yet: THERE ADDICTING. If you really think about not to many people have just 1 tatoo. I have 3. I have a rose on my ankle, (of corse that was my first one when I was 17) I have a Pegasis (my spellings bad, sorry) with a castle and clouds on my back shoulder and a little mushroom on my lower stomach (just where you can see it when I wear a Bikini)

 

My algebra teacher had a tattoo of a lizard going from the top of his foot to his shin. He also had a parrot on his back.... that was funny... everybody freaked out at the graduation pool party when they saw it.

 

i have 2 tats....a grateful dead bear with butterfly wings on my right ankle (on the outside) and the 3 chinese symbols for peace, love, happiness on my back...i have a total of 4 holes in each ear...2 top and 2 bottom...the bottoms are gauged to a 6...in my right ear i don't wear earrings in the top...and i have my tongue pierced....i agree with sunburst...piercings and tats are hot...especially when they are in the right places....btw, sunburts...love the sig!

Yeah... you're right... maybe I should get a tattoo of jesus on my ass... I mean... say you're a priest or a pastor or something. If they're going to desecrate their bodies then why not get tattoos of jesus... You never see that though. You never see some Hell's angel on a harley with tattoos of jesus and crosses and buddha or krishna.... You know... they ought to make a religious themed tattoo parlor. That would be great.
