How LONg can seeds survive berfore being planted? It may be next spring before I can plant. Would seeds I get tomorrow, live? Grow?
ummm, probably. Seeds are kind of like a dormant thing, that will just sit there and be seeds unless they are in the evironment that they need getting the stuff they need to turn into plants. Just don't let them get too hot or humid. You might store them in the fridge or something. My grandma stores seeds in her freezer for her flowers to store them. But I am stoned and actually not very smart about botany so i could be wrong.
They will as long as they don't experience any sharp changes in temperature. Some seeds can stay dormant for years and survive through winters, it just depends how strong their seed coat is. So I would say they'll be fine as long as you keep them in a relatively cool place.
up to 2 years. i use to gard crops for the ol man. he would have 10 different kinds all of them were in mcomick dry parsly containers. those are big, and there were tons of em. different kind. he said they last as long as any other seed bout 2 years he taught the young grasshopper many many things
Fridge most definetly and some say to keep them dark.... i keep mine in a empty cardboard match container.... u can keep them up to 5 years that way, but sometimes it will take a few days longer to germinate peace
