I'm thinking about whitening my teeth, and I'm thinking about using Crest White Strips. Previously I've used a gel put into a retainer, but that was wayyy to strong for me, my teeth are really sensitive, and i was in pain the whole next day. Anyone used Crest? How did it work for you? Sideeffects? I'm mostly just really worried about it being very strong and my teeth becoming really sensitive, anyone experienced that?
It made my teeth super sensitive when I tried it and my dentist said it is bad for you I would def go through the dentist. I am getting britesmile done next week. It just takes 20 minutes and your teeth are movie star white. They have a similar process called Zoom that is less expensive. You can't eat or drink dark foods for 2 weeks (I am taking vivarin to replace my coffee because I am a coffee drinker) but the people I have seen who have had it done look amazing.
I'm a fan of whitening toothpastes. For one, they're inexpensive. Two, they're more gentle in my experience. And three, you can choose how white you want your teeth. I personally can't stand the look of superwhite teeth.
I've used Crest White Strips and didn't even get through the whole box they made my teeth hurt so much.
So, am I the only one for whom this thread is bringing back memories of the Friends episode where Ross (over)bleached his teeth?
hehe, no! That's what I said to my boyfriend when I was buying it, hah. Sooo I used my first 'time' today, only 30 minutes and my teeth are ALREADY sore and sensitive, ouch! I have to do another 30 minutes today and im scared to that they'll hurt even worse. I don't think I'll be able to continue with the whole 7 days, either. what happens if u don't continue with the whole 7 days, or complete the whole cycle?
The white strips elfs kidnap you and drag you to crest land d: I am assuming they will just not whiten as much
Wow... weird... I have really sensitive teeth and they're fine with me. But I have the ones that last two weeks and are probably less strong. My friends have used them and they were alright. But yeah... maybe try a kit that stretches over a long period of time so maybe the whitening stuff isn't so strong.
