I dreamt this about two weeks ago now, but it's really stuck with me. I dreamt I was in my room and sitting on my bed as if I was awake and everything was as it would be had I been just waking up. But when I looked to the opposite wall from my bed I saw that my room extended into a river, a river very similar to the one I often walk along not far from my house. It's at this point I realise my bed has become a rock in the middle of the river and that I'm fishing. I'm fishing with a rod that is no more than a stick with a string on the end but somehow I catch a fish in the river/my room. The fish I catch is the ugliest thing I've ever seen in my life, infact I've never seen such a strange fish. Its very large and has a trout-like face but looks much more prehistoric and has black and blue pattern markings, a flattened head and huge limb like fins. For some reason, as I pull this hideous thing from the water, I couldn't be more pleased and I thank the fish for his gift and that my family will be very pleased. I woke up after this, it was a very strange to dream to have, kind of one of the ones where you dont know whether you are asleep or awake. Can anyone help me with the meaning in this one and why would I feel immensely good about myself when I woke up because I caught an ugly fish? Ideas?

    Hi Soul_on_Fire

there is so much beauty in your dream.

The ugly fish ask you to be true, and shine from inside out, and walk in balance of spirit, heart and soul.

The meaning of the dream is here first, like water where life springs from. And while you changed, it took you in and so you created the dream and the dream created you, too, drawing you in and letting you go.

I think these things happen all the time.
