After pimple redness!

I don't know if many other people have this happen.. but whenever i get a zit, after it goes away completley, there isn't any swelling at all, but i always have a red mark for about 3 weeks afterwards. It's a really long time and annoying because it's not like it's a zit, just like a blemish i suppose, a red mark. Is there anything out there to put on it that will get rid of the redness after a zit?

 

you can always cover it with concealer or other forms of makeup. but if you put neosporne or a anti bacteria cream on it, it will reduce the redness and help it heal faster.

That happens to me sometimes also.

a cold potatoe slice placed over the red spot usually works for me.
Also Calendula oil has wonderful anti inflammatory properties.

 

Visine will help the redness and you can try a green tinted concealor. I use one Maybelline sells...it's a stick that rolls up like lipstick, not sure what the name is.
