I agree. I got busted with 60 pounds of meth, and I didn't know what to do. Then it came to me. I just yelled out "fuck the police" and that solved all my problems! I no longer needed to worry about how long I was going to jail for, because, being capable of shouting "fuck the police", I could do anything. So I turned back time and got rid of the meth... ... you're a real idiot.

My friend and i were sittin in a parking lot gettin ready to go discing, and the pigs rolled up and started talking to eric about his tags being expired on his car. About 2 min into the convo the cop spotted a lighter on the front seat, so he starts looking through the window and spots a plastic bag halfway under the seat( we were looking at our herb as he was pulling in so i had to stash it under the seat) and he asks my friend whats in it and my friend opens the door and hands him the bag of weed. After he searched he found my warm bong, my friends pipe, and some roolimg papers. Edit: i got 1 yr probation, im on house arrest for 2 weeks with the ankle bracelet, monthly drug tests and i gotta pay the fines. Edit 2: i also forgot that the pigs told me that if i ratted out my dealer i would get a lesser charge(bs).

man, that sucks. i try not to bring any more then what im gonna need when i do have to bring some tree with me. this way, if caught, worse comes to worse i can ditch it. sucks about your bong. i just got mine a few months back and i couldn't imagine the cops taking it. thats why i try not to bring anything bigger than a bowl with me. it might not be the best choice, but it's easier to hide a bowl than a bong. good job for not telling on your dealer. you took it like a man. not to mention, you still have your dealer after all this is over with.

wow man, that sucks. but, as others have said, way not to rat. anyway, this is a good lesson to everyone else. make sure you tell whoever is going to smoke in your car to hide their shit afterwards, completly, and make sure everyone knows their rights. you do not have to stand as a witness against yourself, nor does the cop have any right to search your car without proper cause. if you tell a cop that you don't want them to search your car, they will most likely threaten you with drug dogs or other such things. don't buckle to those threats. chances are, they won't be given authorization to bring the dogs, and if they do, it will be no worse then if you had given the pot to the cops in the beginning.
That's tough shit - I can't believe they searched your car just cos you had a lighter, is that normal in US? I am from UK so I don't know about your drug laws except that they're really harsh
