Hi! First of all, anyone here likes anime? ^^
Well, if the answer is yes, I was wondering if you have ever seen Trigun. For those who don't know, Trigun tell us about Vash, the Stampede, wanted for what I believe to be 60 million dollars. People are completely terrified with his presence. He is known by distroying everything he sees. But the truth is WAY LOT different. Vash is a peacemaker, he faints just looking at blood, and he has probablly suffer more in all his life than everybody you know. I mean psychological pressure. He simply can't kill one single person, even if he/she is a Serial Killer. He believes that everybody has a future and that noone has the right to kill anyone. Later you discouver a bit more about this guy... he has such an accuracy messing with guns, and he uses it to save everyone...

The ambient is soooooooooo cool... it's a very hot planet, very similar to american western, two suns and three moons. This planet is desert over desert over desert. It's beautiful...

Anyway this is my favourite anime, as you may have noticed lol. I just thought it would be interesting talking about this different anime; as you know the typical anime is full of vingence and violence... I also find it interesting: this IS kinda... hip! That's why I'm asking you... those who saw it... what do you think of this?
    Thanks!

Meh... Cartoon network usually shows substandard anime (inuasha, butchered edited Tenchi... Dragon ball series -shudder-) but Trigun is actually pretty good. I dig his pistol a lot. I just dont get how you can wear a trenchcoat in the heat that long. BTW is 60 billion double dollars ;)
I prefer Record of the Lodoss War though

Dark, you should remember younger kids cant always afford anime. Trigun was a fairly good anime however. (And yeah I like Inuyasha too T_T) Anyway I don't always like CN's dubbing but what can you do? I have no job as of now so I can't buy any more anime or manga for that matter. I also had fun watching Trigun because of Kuro Neko sama lol (the black cat that appears in EVERY episode) But other than that I prefer Shoujo Kakumei Utena (I cosplay as Anthy) and Hellsing o_O. But I do have a friend who cosplays as Vash :p so it's all good..

Yeah I understand the afordabillity. I just remember when Sci-Fi used to do anime on sundays (God I was a younin... Like 8) and the First anime I ever sawed was Tenchi: The Movie, and then the next sunday at 2 am I saw Armitage the 3rd: Polymatrix, followed by the classic. Ghost in the Shell. Amazing stuff to be exposed to as a first. So I've always been very picky about my anime. I demand quallity. I believe that TechTV now shows anime at late nights on Saturdays, but I'm not sure about quallity of it. If you have highspeed then you can DL some anime.

www.animenation.com has some good deals from time to time

Cool to see some manga fans here! :) I am actually a collector, I love Manga... don't like much all that vingence and violence but it's cool, though. BTW, Dark Lunacy, that coat is SOOO cool... ^^ what about those glasses? weee , love'em ^^

Anyway I watched all trigun episodes, and I just loved the final episode. Some people find it boring or disconnected, but I think it's perfect. I mean, we were waiting for that moment for so loong... and landscape its soooooooooo cool...

    Thanks for replying :)

I think its more of an anti climax. That final battle was just so... blah. I'm currently into two mangas: King of Hell and Samuri Deeper Kyo. Got 1 and 2 of both. I also read the first issue of a manga called Parasyte. It was bad ass. Anyone else read it?

I used to like anime... erm... about 3 or 4 years ago. I used to watch it alot, but NOTHING will EVER compare to AKIRA. That is not only the best anime movie I have ever seen, but it's actually the best movie from any genre that I've seen. I absolutely love it. The soundtrack is amazing too. I just can't get enough AKIRA. The manga is quite good as well...
