This is sooooooo cool... And kind of scary.

Ever heard of bumpkey? It's a technique that lots of key and lock professionals have adopted just to defeat any lock of the pin and tumbler type.

How easy is it to make a bumpkey? Frighteningly easy. For just about a dollar, you can get any type of key (M1- most padlocks, SW1- Most deadbolts) shaped to the right size, which is known as "999". All of the notches in the key are cut to the lowest possible size, being 9.

I made my key the cheaper way. I found an old key that wasnt being used and I used a file to cut it down to the right spot. I've been able to open all Garrison padlocks, and some Masterlock padlocks.

You can search through youtube and find plenty of bumpkey videos, which sometimes show you how to make the key and how to manipulate the lock to open. ANYONE has access to that information.

Now keep in mind that unless you have a very high security lock on your house, ANYONE can come in quickly and quietly.

I know this doesnt have to do with weed, but I'm stoned now and I was stoned when I made my key.

I can't think of anything honest and/or moral you can do with that key.
Would you want someone to use one of those keys to get into your house when you're gone and steal all your stuff?

There have been passkeys and lockpickers since there have been locks. Once you use one of those keys that's B & E (breaking and entering/unl;awful entering) and/or burglery, either one of which can put you in jail.

pretty much..when i read the first post i couldnt think of a situation that i could use this key in that would be lawful/benefit myself

 

I'm actually using this skill to get a job at the local Lock and Key store.

What a stoner job, I walk in and the clerk is like "HEYYYYY whats up??"

 

this is off topic but just because i posted this above statement...


i fell asleep on one of those couches today right after reading my Religion assignment. i was asleep for about 10-15 minutes i think, either way, here's what happened: as you all know (or if not, now you do) i quit smokin' about 2 weeks and a couple days ago. well nowadays i'm keepin' up with that just in case i have to take a piss test. well, basically, i smoke up in my dream. no tolerance at all, get fuckin' blazed out of my mind. i dunno if you've ever dreamed you got high before, but it's pretty crazy. so basically i'm stoned as hell in my dream, and then i realize that i shouldn't be high for said reason. so i'm like "no, no! i shouldn't be high! crap!" (it was pretty funny actually) the point is, it felt so real, being high in a dream. when i woke up i felt stoned for about half a minute, and i was SO confused as to where the fuck i was or what the fuck just happened. even when i was walking to class i was stilly feelin' a little dazed (go figure, dazed and confused).


anyways, there's my little anecdote of the day

 

everytime I'm home alone I think someone is in my house. I was already way paranoid before I smoked and now weed has just accelerated this. But otherwise nothing bad has happened to me because of weed. I also have a very funny story related to this. Once I was in my house alone, and I heard my cat meowing. I looked all around the house and could not find her. she kept meowing and I still couldnt find her. Suddenly I heard a doorknob rattling. I started screaming for who ever was in my house to get out and that I had a knife (which I carry with me whenever I'm home alone). then I start checking behind shower curtains and in closets and behind doors. finally, I looked in a closet right next to the room I had been in and my cat was in it and she was jumping up and rattling the doorknob, but she couldnt get out. she jumped in my arms and I was so relieved.

 

i watched that video n tried to make one n it worked on the frist fucking try, WTF! thats crazy, ima be rich now

 

I think Im going to use this to get free stuff from my school, a lock that opens any door is useful in a school.
